On the 26th May i am walking 17 miles from Denby Dale to Dovestones to raise money for the SMA trust in memoery of my beautiful granddaughter Rowan who was finally beaten by this condition. She fought long and hard to be with us for as long as posible and proved the medics wrong more than once . Words cannot express the feelings that my family have been through and would like to raise as much as possible so maybe one day no other family has to go through he pain of losing someone so young. Rowan was 18 months old when she passed and would have 2 on the day of the walk so giving us something positive to look forward to on a sad day .
