Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my Just Giving page !!

On the 16th of June 2022 my girlfriend Lulu Blundell was re-diagnosed with a rare form of bone cancer known as Ewing sarcoma , previously she was originally diagnosed at the age of 15 and after a year of treatment and an amputation she was told she was cancer free. Unfortunately it has seemed to have come back and has made the brave decision to not undergo chemo therapy again , instead she has decided to stick with radio therapy meaning that her treatment is palliative care. This also means her cancer is terminal and she won’t be able to make a life saving recovery.

My journey through this has been extremely hard mentally and physically but I’m getting to enjoy every second with the most wonderful woman I’ve ever met. She’s an inspiration to me let alone being the strongest woman I’ve ever come across.

As a result we have decided to run the great north 5k to raise funds for teenage cancer trust as it has a massive place in our hearts.

She is an absolute soldier , despite having 4 tumours that we know of right now, Lulu has decided she wants to run the 5k. Which in my eyes just shows how amazing she is.

We would both much appreciate any donations as it goes to a cause very close to home for Lulu and myself , thank you so much for taking the time to read through my Just Giving page and hopefully we can support the teenage cancer trust as they did my beautiful Lulu.
