In 2018 my brother was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (ALL), it was a devastating blow with him only being a young teenager at the time and our family had to rally together to support him through it.

The process was long and Ethan fought hard throughout the whole process, going through things that I wouldn't even dream of being able to face, his strength throughout the whole process was incredible and I am still so proud of him.

Ethan ended up needing a blood transfusion and up stepped his twin brother Ciaran with no hesitation as he was a perfect match, again, another massive moment of pride to watch as an older brother.

To the present day where Ethan has fully recovered and we currently play for the same football team, the mighty Football Club De Tuesday Night, we're currently talking to Ciaran's agents about making the move next season.

The care we received from the NHS throughout the whole process was exceptional, and no matter what I will always fight the corner of our national health service and that fighting spirit only got stronger throughout Ethan's treatment.

Charities around us were also incredible and Ethan and our family got to share fantastic experiences that we will never forget, the kindness of people around us and from people that didn't even know us filled my heart with so much gratitude, I will never forget it.

So now I want to try and give back in any way possible, me and my mate Alex Braybrooks, also known as the most photogenic bloke in the world are taking on the London Landmarks Half Marathon 2024 on the 7th of April.

We started the year off strong and ran a pretty decent 10K in January and we have false sense of confidence that this race is going to be easy, with the hopes that the bones in my legs don't just turn to dust once I get past 10K.
