Patrick Harwood is raising money for When You Wish Upon A Star
Story
Over the course of the next 12 months, I will be taking part in many events to raise as much money as possible for When You Wish Upon a Star, a fantastic charity with the aim of granting the wishes of children with life-threatening illnesses.
I have decided to opt for a "12 in 12" challenge of completing 12 events in 12 months, starting at the end of November with the Wilmslow 10k and running through until next October, when I will complete the Oldham Half Marathon, recognised by many as one of the most gruelling in the country. I have tried to mix it up a bit and do a mixture of 10k's, half marathons', a marathon and a muddy obstacle course. I am looking forward to the challenges that await me.
As things stand, my "12 in 12" is looking like this :

January 2019 - Heaton Park 10k - 27th January (Completed)
April 2019 - Manchester Marathon - 7th April (Completed)

June 2019 - Oldham 10k - 9th June (Completed)
July 2019 - Tough Mudder Yorkshire - 27th July (Completed)
September 2019 - Littleborough 10k - 29th September. (Completed)
October 2019 - Rochdale 10k - 6th October. (Completed)
