I have wanted to climb the Ruwenzoris after hearing about the experience from my father who trekked there in the 1950's not quite reaching the summit peaks. It is a very remote mountain range in the middle of Africa with less than 1000 people climbing to the summit peaks each year. Weismann Peak is 4620 mtrs high and it will take 5 very arduous and challenging days in extreme conditions to reach the top.

This is a private trip fully organised and paid for by myself, I am raising money for charity as I will almost certainly need the extra incentive to overcome the challenges of the climb and reach the top! All donations raised will go to the the Zambia Society Trust which  an excellent charity that delivers vital help to the poorest and most needy children in Zambia. All monies raised go directly to the point of need in their entirety as the Trust is run by volunteers and no costs are deducted. Having been born and raised in Zambia I am very keen to give something back and help those in desperate need in that country.
