I was given the opportunity to access rehabilitation through Acorn Recovery Projects in April 2014, when I had given up on myself and had accepted that the existence of a life I was living, would continue until death, I was lost, alone and hopeless until I accessed Acorn Recovery Projects through the guidance of a beautiful lady called Gail Stainforth who believed in me when I could not believe in myself. This lady knew Acorn Recovery Projects was the place to send me to in order for me to achieve a better life and finally confront my demons and face up to the consequences that my addiction was having on my life, my loved ones and society. I now work for Acorn Recovery Projects and would love to play a small part in helping another hopeless, lonely, self loathing addict achieve a better way of life
