Chongqing Marathon · 23 March 2013

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Hello

I am moving back to Chongqing in February and running my first full marathon on the 23rd of March. I ran the half-marathon last year and am stepping up to the big one this year. Chongqing is one of the most polluted cities in China and the event will be rather smoggy!

I am raising money for the Alzheimer's society because of the important work they do helping sufferers of the disease and their families. My run is in memory of my grandfather, Gerald Burton.

You can donate securely through this website or in person.

Thanks,

Patrick
