UPDATE 18 April 2005: I did it! Ran all the way in 4 hours, 34 minutes and also blasted my way through my fund-raising goal. Thanks to all who sponsored me. MsF and myself are very grateful.
>>Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.
I received a runner's place in the London Marathon last October and had decided to support Medecins Sans Frontieres UK anyway. But then the tsunami hit and made matters more urgent.
In addition to the tsunami-affected areas, MSF sends doctors for free to places like Sudan, Afghanistan, Iraq and so forth, providing free medical care without regard to sides, politics or religion. They're a great organisation, whom I whole-heartedly support.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Médecins Sans Frontières UK will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
The Marathon is 17 April, so please sponsor me now!
Many thanks for your support.
