Since losing my wonderful 13 year old son  Dave in 1999 to this dreaded disease I wanted to do two things. Firstly, to strive to do all I can to stop this happening to other families and secondly to make Dave proud of me. Hence the marathon challenge representing The Meningitis Research Foundation. I believe that together we can defeat this disease and protect our children and future generations.

We thank both Mo & Lindsay for supporting Michael and just being there for him.
