You all know l raise funds for various charities by walking and trekking, but this is the ultimate - KILIMANJARO!  l am paying the full cost of the expedition myself so every penny you can spare goes directly to CANCER RESEARCH UK, the charity closest to my heart. l am doing this in memory of my husband Alan, who fought cancer for nine years thanks to medical knowledge until sadly he lost his fight in 2005. l am also doing it to support Paul, a very dear friend, who has just been diagnosed with cancer but is fighting with all his might.
