Myself and my twin sister Caroline, have been running various local races this year and sharing our trips around Cornwall and Devon on Facebook as we went with the slogan Twinnies on Tour. We decided after booking our first half marathon last year, that we would both enter the ballot for London (after a bottle of wine 😂) , with the agreement that if one of us got in the other would also run it through a local charity place. 

Naively I believed we would both receive the commiserations magazine along with a rather nice running top, as we know so many people who have been trying for years and haven’t been successful.  However, as luck (I think) would have it (I’m not normally lucky) I received the ‘Your In’ magazine 😳 After a very emotional, tearful and panicked day, the news sunk in - I AM RUNNING THE LONDON MARATHON!!!!  And not on my own - I then submitted my sisters application for a place with Cornwall Hospice Care, a fantastic local charity and she was one of the lucky ones to receive a place - She was delighted 😂😂.  And my friend Emily also received a charity place and so we became the 3 musketeers xx

So the twinnies and Emily are doing the London marathon together in 2019 - Let the fund raising commence!!
