During 2019 I am going to be attempting to complete three fairly big challenges to raise money for Meningitis Now. They are a great charity who do some awesome work funding research, raising awareness and supporting those affected by Meningitis. 

I was aware of the impact Meningitis could have on children, having several little ones of my own, but I was not aware of the massive impact on the health of adults until one of our closest friends faced Viral Meningitis. Tes had some great support from Meningitis Now during a really struggle with Meningitis. https://www.meningitisnow.org/support-us/news-centre/meningitis-stories/tes-story/

Hopefully my efforts will raise some funds to thank them for what they did for Tes and to help them in a small way with all the work they do.

I will be attempting the following:

ASICS Greater Manchester Marathon Sunday 7th April-- done.. Not sure I'll be doing one of those again!! Time to get the bike out! 

Velo Birmingham and Midlands 100 mile Cycle on Sunday May 12th - done.. Very tough but not as tough as the marathon.. Even on very little training. One left

Prudential RideLondon to Surrey 100 mile Cycle on Sunday 4th August
