Having served in the armed forces straight out of school this felt like the right charity to support. If you take a look at their website you'll see they organise a lot of great fund raising events (www.walkingwiththewounded.org.uk) to support those people who have paid a heavy price in serving their country.
Any amount, no matter how big or small, would be greatly appreciated to help me reach my target of £300. If I can get to this target I have matched funding from my employer, Sage, that would take me to the incredible amount of £500, so please, please, please help me reach this goal.
NB. the secondary reason I'm doing the GNR is to beat the family time, set by my younger brother Adam last year. Unfortunately age and ability mean this is highely unlikely to happen, so lets just concentrate on the fundraising!
