Being from Essex, I never knew Nicola, but as a serving Police Officer, I, along with every other copper in the land, was shocked to the core when she, and her colleague Fiona, were murdered in cold blood. I was lucky to be able attend their funerals to pay my respects.

The cause I am running for is a natural progression and as a 48 year old, asthmatic, ex-smoker, I am sure there is going to be some pain over the 125 days but every penny donated will give me the inspiration to complete the task ahead and help Nicolas father leave a legacy in her name.
