Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving Page. My wife Jill was diagnosed with Stage 4 breast cancer in July 2013.A treatment plan for Jill was put into place by the  Hospital  cancer care team which included Chemotherapy to reduce the size of the tumour then a mastectomy then Radiotherapy. Jill also is being given the Herceptin drug which she will be on for a year. After this we hope that there will available other treatments to help contain and control the cancer for Jill . 

The need for research has never been greater that's why this year I'm going to run the Greater Manchester Marathon and join the Cancer Research Uk team which is supporting a more tomorrows campaign to help the University of Manchester fund the construction of new State of Art Research Laboratories for the Manchester Cancer Research Centre. The building of these new research laboratories will benefit all cancer patients here in the UK and help find better treatments and cures for cancer in the future.
