I have always had the ambition to sail around the UK. 

Three years ago I was diagnosed with Atrial Fibrillation which lead to a severe bout of health anxiety. I was helped to overcome my worries with the help from mental health professionals. I became aware of the importance of mental health and well-being and I am proud to support Mind on our round Britain challenge. 

Mid and North East Essex Mind is here to support and empower people experiencing an emotional or mental health condition by building on their personal hopes and aspirations. They work with children, young people and adults across the area. They believe no one should face a mental health problem alone.
