Story

Thank you for visiting my sponsorship page.Action Medical Research is the leading UK-wide charity saving and changing children’s lives through medical research. For 65 years we’ve helped pioneer ways to prevent disease and develop treatments benefiting millions of people. Our research has helped to beat polio in the UK, develop ultrasound, fight meningitis and prevent stillbirths. But we urgently need to develop more new treatments and cures for sick babies and children and we can’t do it without you.Join our fight for little lives.

Two teams of Cheshire’s finest police officers are undertaking the Race the sun challenge for the third time to raise money for such a worthy cause. The event will start at sunrise on Saturday 6th July 2019 and will involve 44 miles of cycling, a 12 mile trek on the Tennyson trail and a 2km canoe, aiming to finish by sunset. Please please sponsor us kindly as we have a big target to reach and every donation large or small will help us and the charity immensely.
