RFUIPF Veteran's Rugby Day · 9 June 2018

The RFU Injured Players Foundation supports & protects the rugby family. They provide support to any rugby player who sustains a catastrophic spinal cord injury or traumatic brain injury while playing the game, and they fund vital injury prevention research to keep everyone safer on the field.

Story

Ealing Evergreens are honoured to be invited to play in the RFU IPF Veterans Rugby Day on the 9th June.

This event is particularly close to all of our hearts at Ealing as one of our young players, Ben Pearson, suffered a very serious injury whilst playing for the club in April of this year.

The day is a celebration of Vets rugby where 130 veteran players from four clubs who have suffered catastrophic player injuries, will be putting their bodies on the line on the holy turf to raise funds for the RFU Injured Players Foundation.

We together with Hammersmith & Fulham RFC, Wimbledon RFC and Silhilians RUFC, have set ourselves a massive target of £40,000, so please can you help me support the RFUIPF by sponsoring the Evergreens as a group through my personal account for this match.  Alternatively pick the Evergreens' player of your choice and sponsor him directly.

This event gives us a splendid opportunity to help support a charity dedicated to supporting and protecting the rugby family.

Sincerely, Paul Clarke
Ealing Trailfinders Men's Section Chairman
