I have decided to take part in the #BigMarathonMonth to support the work of Emmaus Leeds and will complete 26.2 miles throughout the month of June doing lots of activities.  This may be on my scooter, my bike, walking to school or just out with My parents.  Emmaus Leeds supports formerly homeless people by providing a home, and meaningful work in one of their social enterprises. This meaningful work helps restore the self-esteem that is often lost when a person becomes homeless.There are currently 29 communities across the UK supporting 816 formerly homeless people, known as companions. There are also four Emmaus groups working hard to set up an Emmaus community in their local area.Please donate as much as you can afford to my #BigMarathonMonth fundraiser and help me raise as much as I can for Emmaus Leeds. Mama will post pictures on her Facebook and they will be on the Emmaus website.
