Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Our college charity this year is Jay's Aim. This charity raises money to provide defibrillators in the local area and train young people to do CPR. Many of our students at Newton Abbot College have already had training from the charity.

Each defibrillator costs just over £1000 but they have a massive impact on someone having a cardiac arrest. Every minute without CPR and defibrillation reduces someone's chance of survival by 10%". This is why it is so important to have them available in the local community and at sports clubs.

I have chosen to walk from Tottenham Hotspur ground to Sandy Park, the ground of Exeter chiefs, as these were Jay's favourite teams. I will follow in my fathers footsteps who did a similar challenge years ago from Twickenham to his beloved Torquay RFC. Each day I will walk about 20 miles and it will take me 10 days to complete the walk.
