Our vision is a world where every child and young person survives cancer. For 35 years, Children with Cancer UK has funded much needed research into the causes of childhood cancers, and the development of better, kinder treatments as well as funding initiatives that support children and their families through cancer treatment and beyond.Our work has contributed significantly to a marked increase in childhood cancer survival rates and improved quality of life for patients.

I was asked by a friend of mine, Gary, to join him in an event he had been thinking about doing for many years. Unfortunately I have very little will power to say No!! So we entered ‘The Wall’ a 70 Mile Ultra Marathon which starts in Carlisle and follows in close proximity to Hadrian’s wall and finishes in Newcastle. 

To do this challenge will be a massive achievement but to be able to do this for a charity seems the obvious opportunity to raise money to help others and give myself further incentive. With your help with as little as a £1 donation we can help achieve a good total towards this very well deserved charity and give Children and families the support they so require and deserve.
