So here is our story...

Myself Paul, a personal trainer, James, a college student and keen sportsman, and Ryan, a Royal Marine are always looking for new challenges and feel running 150 mile in 5 days is a great way to raise money for Haswell and district mencap, aswell as challenging our bodies mentally and physically.

Our journey begins at Whithaven were we run 30 mile to Penrith on our first day. From here, we run to Keswick, which is another 28 mile on day 2. Day 3, we run to allenheads which is around 30 mile. This day is known to be the hardest but im sure team work and your support and kind donations will get us through. Day 4, we run to Consett which is around 30 mile, before day 5, the home stretch of around 28 mile, brings us to Roker. It is on day 5 when we would like to ask everybody to join us (YES YOU!) Tell your friends or anybody you think would like to join in. Whether it's the last 28mile, the last 13 mile, the last 5 mile, or even the last 20 metres... every little helps! If you would prefer to cycle along side us, this would also be brilliant. It would be great to get as much support as possible for the last day as we will definitely need it. For those of you who don't feel up to running, please come along to the finish line and cheer us home. Our overall aim is to raise as much money as possible for our cause, which helps people with learning dissabilities in our region. This cause is particularly pogniant to me and my family at the moment, as I very recently lost my wonderful grandma, Elizabeth Burton, who worked voluntary for Haswell & District Mencap for alomost 20 years who I know would be very proud of our efforts.

Our aim is to make this an annual event for charities and to give YOU the opportunity to show people what YOU are made of..

for info on our run or anything about the event don't hesitate to call me (Paul) on 07947245540.

we are hoping for around 100 people to end the last day with us, im sure a great reception will welcome us all home for a celebration that evening.

So please dig deep and donate now.
