I am running the Great North Run through work to raise money for our chosen company charity Leonard Cheshire - having worked with them first hand, they support individuals to live, learn and work as independently as they choose, whatever their ability. I enjoy pushing myself through running and other activities and great to support others in having the opportunity to develop and enjoying their lives as they wish to. 

Led by people with experience of disability, they are at the heart of local life - opening doors to opportunity, choice and support in communities around the globe. Leading by example, they do everything humanly possible to empower people to live their lives a freely and as fully as they choose.
