As CEO of The Y for the last 21 years and with the growing number of homeless people on our streets each night I felt it was time for me to experience how it feels to be in their position. 

Each night The Y provides 120 beds to young people who have no safe place to call home. A young person who has suffered trauma, family breakdown or abuse will take many little steps before they are ready to leave The Y with confidence to set up a home of their own.£10 buys a welcome pack for someone with no belongings.£80 could buy interview clothes and shoes£275 could pay for a month of specialist support for a young person who has suffered abuse. Any amount YOU can give will help a young person leave homelessness behind for GOOD.
