Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

After hearing about God's saving grace and love working through the Kairos Prison Ministry I decided that I wanted to do anything I could to support this wonderful work.

On Sunday 22.9.13 I ran the Ipswich Half Marathon in order to raise funds for the next mission in October. I completed the 13.1 miles in 1 hour 43 minutes.

Kairos in an established international Prison ministry that bring the Good news of God's eternal love and desire to forgive and restore those 'Prodigals' who repent and 'earnestly seek' His ways. Whitemoor is the only prison  on the UK mainland offering this hope. This pioneering candle in the dark needs to blaze if inmates our nations prisons are going to find this faith-based hope that Kairos can bring.

The total cost of a 5 day mission is around £2500.  It works out at £100 per inmate. This covers the costs of the team-training and the inmate participant pack   £20 per inmate per day.

My target of £600 it would pay for 6 inmates, which is one Kairos "family table" for the week.
