Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. In January I put on Facebook that I was pleased that I'd walked 1250 miles in 2019 and wondered what target I should set myself for this year. A friend suggested 2020 was the right number. I thought "no chance!", but in Lockdown 1 I walked more because there was little else to do and it looked like that target might be just possible. Good news is I've done it  - just! 2020.82 miles to be exact with 9 hours to go and a couple of short dog walks to add.. Have to say I'm pretty pleased with that in the year I turned 70. Now I'm not looking for £33M or a Knighthood (although either would be most welcome), but it did occur to me that maybe I could use the miles achieved to raise some money for this wonderful charity. Like most the Hospice has been badly hit financially by the pandemic with many normal fundraising events cancelled, so their need is pretty desperate. £1 would be great, £5 magnificent. Many thanks in advance. And yes I'm going for 2021 when my target is to walk Route 66 virtually from Chicago to Los Angeles. That's 2280 miles!
