As you may know , I had the gift of a Kidney transplant for end stage kidney disease some 14 years ago, and ran the Great North Run for he same charity 1 year later. My brother Jack had the same illness and a successful transplant, but unfortunately died suddenly, unexpectedly and tragically from a Covid related illness in November 2021. I am running the Great North Run in 2022 in memory of Jack, and to raise money for this vital charity.
