I am taking the time to suffer for others. My pain for other peoples gain. I believe everyone has a right to Food, water, shelter, safety and health care as a minimum. Not only am I looking to fundraise but to raise awareness. You may see me training whilst wearing my yellow DENS t-shirts, mile after mile.

I am suffering through hours and days of long arduous training, culminating in the 24 hour event. My goal is not only to complete the 24hour event but 100 miles within this time period. For me, this takes considerable effort physically and most importantly, mentally.  

Getting up at 3:00/3:30am at weekends month after month to "get my time in", training at work, and most evenings is what is required for me to achieve this.

Any donation to achieve my target amount is motivating for me (especially in those dark, championship hours) but most importantly goes towards a fantastic local charity that reflects my beliefs.
