Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Together with my best buddy Dave Ennis, I will be cycling from London to Paris in memory of Dave's father-in-law Richard Scarfe (pictured above), who was diagnosed with Parkinson's at the age of 51, and battled the disease for nearly 20 years before very sadly passing away last July.
Richard was an avid cyclist, cycling for Wales in the '60s and made regular trips to France to watch the Tour de France. As a fitting tribute, we will undertake the 350 mile ride starting in London, and arriving in Paris 4 days later, in time to see the final stage of the 2019 Tour De France.
Our aim is to raise as much money as possible for Parkinsons UK, to aid critical research in the hope that this terrible disease can be better understood and a cure found sooner rather than later.
Many thanks, your contribution will be hugely appreciated.
Paul
