Paul Heffernan Daisy Heffernan & Sarah Campbell are flying the UKs longest zipline at Bluewater in Kent on the 21st August 2021 at 11am we are aiming towards raising as much money as we can to help Addensbrooke Hospital cancer campaign & research.
I am actually scared of heights but I'm facing my fears & doing this for Addensbrooke Hospital where I had major life changing surgery to remove cancer from my ear jaw neck and head, they took muscle from my thigh to reconstruct the side of my face & head which has left me with a couple of disabilities which is obviously nothing as the cancer would of killed me in a matter if months.
It's amazing what they do at this Hospital there innovations are amazing and the care they give to patients. so thanks to them I'm alive today to tell my story 🙌👏🙏❤
10 can help fund vital cancer research at Addenbrooke’s
£100 can help to reduce cancer recurrence for 10 patients through an exercise and rehabilitation session
£1,000 can provide seven people with psychological support through their cancer diagnosis and treatment
£5,000 can help make a clinic or ward more comfortable and welcoming
£50,000 can provide a machine for immediate assessment of biopsy samples in theatre
£250,000 can provide a 3D scanner to target cancer tumours more effectively
