Paul's 26th Anniversary Charity Walk · 19 August 2021

Far too many of us have felt the pain of losing someone we love. With your donations, we power groundbreaking cardiovascular research to save and improve lives, bring hope to families, and keep hearts beating across the UK.

Story

Thanks for visiting my page. I'm raising money for the British Heart Foundation and I'd be so grateful for your support.

On Thursday 19thAugust 2021 I will be walking a marathon 26.2 miles around the Grand Pier, Weston Super Mare. This date is an extra special anniversary for me as two years ago I underwent life saving heart surgery. This year will also be my 26th year of fundraising and with your support I would love to raise £2600 for the British Heart Foundation (BHF).

The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives. It's only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures. £24 could pay for two hours of research by an early career scientist, but every pound helps so please give what you can to help me hit my target. Thanks!
