Story

On 14th February last year I received the rather sobering news that I had a malignant tumour on my left tonsil! After an intensive and debilitating course of radio & chemo therapy I finally received the good news in August that my treatment had been successful and I was cancer free.

One year on I have managed to put back on the majority of the 14 kilos I lost and feel fit enough to try and do something to try and repay the skill, support and expertise of all those who helped me through last year.

I am walking the 100 miles of the South Downs Way, from Winchester to Eastbourne in an effort to raise as much as I can for the Radiotherapy Dept at the QE Hospital in B'ham. They do a fantastic job treating and caring for those with all forms of cancer.

As an incentive to give generously, I will personally double whatever is raised from individual donations.
