Story

Baby Owen was born at Telford hospital with Oesophageal atresia and tracheo-oesopageal fistula meaning he was unable to breathe for himself.

He was transferred urgently to the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital where they operated on him at only 36 hours old to quite literally save his life.

Every member of staff at Manchester Children's has been brilliant from the second we arrived all the way through his treatment. I wanted to say thank you in some way and after seeing the poster asking for people to run the Manchester half on 14th October as part of #TeamHumphrey I thought it was the ideal opportunity to raise some money as a small way of saying thank you for the incredible care Owen has received.

I know it's short notice but please donate if you can. Any money raised will go to RMCH and their paediatric intensive care (PICU).
