My Brother Thomas and I are once again competing in the Megavalanche Downhill Mountain Bike Race in Alpe D'Huez , France. This will be the third time we have competed in this race. It is without doubt, one of the most physically and mentally demanding events of it kind. (Look it up on Youtube!!!) The drive there and back is nothing to be sniffed at either!!! We first did this race in 2012, in a way to celebrate Thomas's recovery from cancer, but also to challenge ourselves in the wake of our Fathers death due to cancer a few months earlier. This year we thought it would make a great opportunity to raise money for a fantastic cause that provided invaluable support to the family, and in particular to Mum and Dad, at a very difficult time. With your help we can help them to give support to more people in need.
