As a crew member of Clipper boat Qingdao, we are racing against 10 other Clipper boats (see www.clipperroundtheworld.com) in leg 3. My race starts in November in Cape Town and finishes in Perth (Freemantle) in December 2019. Thus crossing the Southern Ocean non-stop; and fulfills a long-held ambition of participating in long distance endurance yacht racing in the most challenging circumstances on earth.
