If it wasn’t for people like you, that donate to the cause, my daughter Megan might not be with us today. Just after birth, Megan started to loose weight and doctors were concerned, and she was rushed to Southampton General hospital where she was diagnosed with Truncus Arteriosus. During surgery Megan had a Cows jugular vein implanted in her heart. A cows vein was used as the artificial vein was just too big to the job. Fast forward to today and 3 surgeries later, Megan is healthy & fit and studying for her GSCEs.
