Football to Amsterdam 2019 - London route · 7 June 2019 to 9 June 2019 ·

Prostate Cancer UK has a simple ambition - to stop men dying from prostate cancer. Through shifting the science over the next 10 years to focus on radical improvements in diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and support, we will stop prostate cancer being a killer.

Story

This will be the fourth time I have taken part in this three day 230 mile round trip to the Dutch capital and back. This year is slightly different as all the money raised will be going directly to Prostate Cancer UK.

Our shirts all include the Futurestars badge, an excellent charity changing people lives details of which can be found on our website at https://www.futurestarscharity.org.uk/ the idea being to also raise awareness of this great cause, we are not expecting any donations from this event.

Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men and directly affected my family. It’s a disease which kills one man every 45 minutes – that’s two men during a football match. But Prostate Cancer UK know that we can turn it around. Their aim is to make this a disease the next generation need not fear.

Once again I am extremely grateful to Lovewell Blake LLP who have supported me on each ride.
