Edinburgh Kiltwalk 2023 · 17 September 2023 ·

We’re the UK’s leading bowel cancer charity. We’re determined to save lives and improve the quality of life of everyone affected by bowel cancer. Our vision is a future where nobody dies of the disease.

Story

I am taking part in the Edinburgh Kiltwalk to raise money for Bowel Cancer UK, in memory of the wonderful aunt, sister and daughter, Catherine Winchester.

Catherine was my ‘surrogate sister’ for over 32 years - a huge part of my life and much missed by us all.

This charity is the UK's leading bowel cancer charity and they are determined to save lives and improve the quality of life of everyone affected by bowel cancer.

Bowel cancer is the UK's second biggest cancer killer with over 16,000 people dying annually of a disease that is preventable, treatable and curable.

The money you donate will help to provide support and information to patients and their families, enable them to fund and support research into bowel cancer and to campaign for early diagnosis and best treatment and care for all.

For Catherine, and for everyone.
