Story
This will be the 4th West Highland Way Challenge race I have competed in.
The West Highland Way Challenge Race is an ultra trail marathon. It is is a 96 mile point to point race taking in some of Scotland's finest outdoor scenery with over 14,500ft of ascent along the way. The race follows the West Highland Way long distance trail starting in Fort William, with the ultimate goal to cross the finish line in Milngavie
within the time limit of 35 hours.
The race starts at 10:00 on Saturday 28th May with a target of completing the route by 21:00 on Sunday 29th May.
This year I am supporting Muirhead Outreach Project, a local charity based in Glenrothes who aim to provide support to families in the Glenrothes and Levenmouth area. More details can be found on their website http://www.muirhead-outreach.org.uk/
