Story

During the month of November, I am looking to raise money for Patterdale Mountain Rescue by swimming the equivalent of the English Channel. Back in August 2017 I sustained life threatening injuries after falling from Striding Edge in The Lake District and Patterdale Mountain Rescue were instrumental in saving my life. My road back to recovery was long and challenging as I was unable to do many of the sports that I had done before. Swimming became my saviour both physically and mentally. This is the first of many challenges that I hope to do to raise money for this amazing mountain rescue team.
