So some of you may know that for the last 29 days I’ve been running 5miles each day.. and people keep asking why ?
So on the eve of my 30th run in 30 days I thought I would let u know why I’m Running 🏃♂️
My Dad is suffering from IPF which is a Severe terminal lung disease ... which simply means he really struggles to breathe on a daily basis and sadly for our family he is getting worse by the day ..he is pretty much bed bound and lives the majority of his time on oxygen at his home 😔
In the past year or so my mum has been outstanding looking after the old boy together with the incredible support from the NHS
Recent events has reminded us all what a truly superb job they continue do on a daily Basis
My initial aim was to complete 2 1/2 miles each day for 25 days .. and after I would I Donate some money to the the NHS IPF
But I decided because my dad can’t use his lungs .. I would use my lungs more to increase the challenge by 100% so there it is I am going to run 5miles a day in 50 days .. 😔😔
I have to say I am struggling right now on the 29th day to complete even another mile .. so I thought if I put up a just giving page .. and ask for a £5 donation .. this will help me motivate me get over the line .. so if you can spare a £5 then great .. but if u cant ur support is enough 👍👍 i have 3 weeks left to complete my challenge .. Thanks Dad for inspiring me all my life .. this ones for you xx
