Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am completing a 24 hour triathlon, seeing me complete a 40km cycle, 10km run and 100 burpees in a continuous cycle over 24 hours. I am doing this in memory of both Isabella Semple (my Mum) and Owen McVeigh.

Throughout my Mums life and teaching career, my Mum always went out of her way to support friends, colleagues, students and their families who required it. I am keen to continue that legacy in her memory but in my own way.

The Owen McVeigh Foundation was set up in memory of Owen McVeigh who was only 11 years old when he passed away after a short diagnosis with leukaemia, The purpose of the charity is to raise funds to help and enrich the lives of children who are ill with cancer and their Families.
