I’m Paul Street and work as Head of Communications for Network Rail's North West route. 

I’ve always enjoyed running, and regret that in my late teens and 20s, I never challenged myself doing anything official.

Being cooped up during lockdown reignited by love
for running and getting fresh air around the Ribble Valley!

Running has also been great for my wellbeing during the
pandemic. It clears my head and allows me to reflect on the tasks ahead at work and at home.

To compete a marathon is not only a lifetime ambition, but it’s an opportunity to show my two kids that anything is possible, if you work hard at it.

Most importantly, to raise money for charity at the same is
a great incentive to see this challenge through. I’m hopeful I can corral my friends, family and colleagues to sponsor me!
