Stepping Stones NI is a charity that supports people with learning disabilities and learning difficulties to realise their potential for their future. The charity provides a range of award winning services and social enterprises that support people through training leading to employment.

Story

I have been ‘persuaded’ to volunteer for this year’s IoD Chairman’s Charity Challenge, fundraising for the IoD’s Charity of the Year, the learning disability charity Stepping Stones NI on 21st May at Belfast Zoo.

The Challenge is “I’m a Chairman, get me out of here!” - a trial event with mystery challenges, including mystery ‘yummy’ snacks amongst others.  The trial will have 3 challenges in total.

You can donate at one of 3 categories that will equate to each of the 3 challenges.

Challenge 1  - donate under £30

Challenge 2 – donate between £31 and £50

Challenge 3 – donate more than £50

PLEASE give me your donations to make sure I don’t have to do one of these challenges.

The member with the lowest amount of fundraising on his or her Just Giving page in each of the challenge categories will have to undertake that challenge.  They haven’t told us what the three challenges are but I suspect that the higher the donation, the more horrible the challenge L

You are very welcome to come along to enjoy the ‘fun’ from 8.30am – there will be some refreshments and the sight of strong men and women quaking in trepidation…  Donate plenty !!!!!
