Post race update!

Thank you so much to everyone who supported and sponsored me - if you haven't there's still time :)  

I completed the Virtual London Marathon in 4 hours 33 minutes and although it rained all day the support was incredible! Lots of car horns and people hanging out of their windows to shout encouragement. It was certainly a different challenge running without the huge crowds of a usual marathon, but it was a really rewarding experience and I'm looking forward to getting my medal in the post!!

2020 has been a crazy year. I've found that running helps me manage my stress levels and it's certainly given me the headspace to process the challenges in my work and home life this year.

My training has gone really well. At the start of the year I wanted to get half marathon fit and I've now run seven half marathons this year and think I'm ready to take on my second ever marathon on Sunday.

Rather than just use my running to help me I've decided to raise some money for a great cause and will be running for Amnesty International. They work to protect people wherever justice, freedom, truth and dignity are denied. Any support can you give would be fantastic and gratefully received.

All donations will be sent direct to the charity in a fast and secure way. This saves time and cuts costs for the charity.
