Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Having had four members of the family who have suffered from varying forms of cancer, the one thing that struck me was the care, professionalism and dedication shown by the staff of the departments involved in the treatment of this catastrophic disease. They bring a ray of hope into peoples lives when its most needed. Now they need £600,000 to update the radiotherapy equipment, making a special form of radiotherapy called brachytherapy accessible to people without having to travel to Cambridge or other hospitals further away at a time when they are least able to travel. Please help our hospital continue to fight on the front line against this disease in all its forms, and hopefully help reduce the number of families who face the loss of a loved one each year. The aim is to raise a £1000 over various cycle rides across this year starting with the Cambridge 100
