TackleAfrica uses the power and popularity of football to deliver HIV and Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) information and services to young people on football pitches across the continent

Story

It's that time again.

After a sabbatical last year, I'm back on it.  I'll be donning my boots and red/blue/black/white/green (delete as appropriate) shirt for a 12 hour 'festival' of football in Lancaster with good friends and rivals to raise money for this fantastic HIV awareness programme. It's my 5th marathon now and it certainly doesn't get any easier but it's absolutely worth it.

Tackle Africa run the Lancaster event alongside London, Brighton and Jersey and whilst it's a remote northern outpost, we more than compete with fundraising. Every year we raise over £10,000.

Your money will go to funding coaches who engage with young people across Africa about sexual health through football drills etc.

HIV is the number one killer of adolescents in Africa. If you can support this cause it would be really appreciated.
