Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As I rapidly approach my 40th birthday, <care: mid-life crisis warning!> I thought I would revisit my childhood and buy a bike.

To justify the expense to my wife and hopefully raise a few quid for charity, I signed up for a couple of charity cycles. This one and the BHF London/Brighton night ride (see separate page).

Totalling 126 miles, a few weeks apart. The Solent Coast challenge takes a day and incorporates 6 ferry journeys, the London/Brighton Night Ride is... well... London to Brighton... night-time... i.e. in the dark...

What seemed like a good idea a few months ago, with plenty of time to get some miles in and fully prepared, hasn't quite gone as planned, and so there could be some pain in store.

I know there are a lot of call of your money at present, but if you can find a few spare pounds, it may make my pain a little more worthwhile!

Thanks very much.
