Beat The Moon & Edinburgh Marathon · 8 May 2010

We protect and support children and young people, providing practical and emotional care and support. We ensure their voices are heard, and campaign to bring lasting improvements to their lives. Our vision is that every child and young person has a safe and happy childhood, and the foundations they need to thrive.

Story

Paul & Sean are embarking on an endurance event called "beat the moon" in May in which they will be required to cycle 10 miles to the base of Sca Fell Pike (england's tallest mountain) climb and decend the mountain, canoe across Wast Water and then finish with a mile run, all before the moon rises (hence the beat moon tag) and this will be all completed in the same day.

To motivate themselves to complete these two events Paul & Sean have chosen to support Action for Children, a worthy charity that supports children across the UK who find themselves in the most deprived situations and assists them in re-building their lives. With plenty of training to be carried out over the coming weeks and plenty of pounds to shed please give generously, any donation large or small will be greatly appreciated as these chaps have plenty to do.
