RTTC National 24 hour Championship (Mersey Roads) · 20 July 2019

We support parents and carers on low incomes with essential costs when a child is hospitalised with a critical illness. This includes support with food and travel costs, as well as accommodation costs in cases where hospital accommodation is over-subscribed.

Story

Bryan and Patsy are my neighbours and last year they cruelly lost their daughter Evie to a brain tumour.  They set up Evie's Gift in response to their experience as parents during her illness and in memory of Evie to help others during their time of need.

As to why a 24 Hour Time Trial - well I have done a 12 Hour and many 100 mile time trials, so it didn't seem right to ask friends for support for something which I could do. So a step into the unknown.

My thanks to my support crew (all volunteers!)

who may not be quite sure what they have volunteered for.
